I am not a poet. What little poetry I write these days has to do with my novel writing. Sometimes a story just seems to call for a poem.
Most of my poetry was written as a teenager, and it served its purpose: I got to explore the thoughts, feelings and ideas that would’ve been too convoluted to express in any other form. Occasionally, I have written song lyrics too. But to be honest, I don’t think I’m any good at this side of literature, and it hasn’t been an active hobby of mine for a long time. The oldest poem on this page was written when I was 12.
I will upload more poems from the past when I find them! (They’ve all been scattered in old sketch books and school notebooks, instead of writing them all in one place like a sane person!)
